This day was a reception day. In the afternoon Luke and Kasia were waiting in the Europa Hotel for the long-awaited guests from 6 countries. Everything was planned to get our friends from Warsaw Airport by vans. Problems started in the morning when I got a phone from Maria who said that they were stuck in Frankfurt as their connection flight to Warsaw had been cancelled. Fortunately, it wasn't difficult to arrange new transport for them to get them to Kalisz later. Anyway, it was the only problem we had to face that first day. Turkey and Italy came first, then Germany and Slovakia with their own transport, then Norway and Spain arrived late at night. Polish families came to meet the kids they were hosting in their homes. It was very exciting time, a bit stressful both for us and the kids who were a little scared of the new.
